With its uniquely strong ICT, mechanical engineering and software expertise, Saxony can set its own course in robotics technologies. Young robotics start-ups as well as established automation companies and renowned research institutes contribute to this. With its specific R&D and industrial structure, Saxony is one of the few regions that has excellent potential in both software / algorithms and hardware / system development. Strategic areas of action are formulated in Saxony's AI strategy.
